phoenix enchantress; any good?

this is just something i was thinking about and was wondering its any good.
i here enchantresses are ABSOLUETELY horrible pvp; but semi ok and fun to play w/ pvm so heres my take on it

gear-
weapon-phoenix phase blade
shield-phoenix monarch

i chose this combo b/c of the crazy enhanced dmg(700 at the very least) and the -fire res (-28 on each; so a grand total of -56). an very nice bonus for pvm is the redemption aura since i plan on using es this is a great bonus. this aims to be a 1 hit kill build so the firestorm trigger wont matter much

rings-a bk and a raven frost
amulet-highlords wraith
armor-treachery is a good opinion imo. but i need help on this
boots-upped goreriders
gloves-souldrainers would work nice as well as draculs
belt-verdungoes
helm-i was thinking a coa w/ 2 fire facets or maybe an andy's face 2/ 1

They aren't horrible in pvp if you get a widowmaker and just tp around everywhere....and your energy shield is gonna drain a lot of mana with a low telekenesis

There are a couple glaring problems that I see.

You have no synergy for ES. This is going to result in quick mana drain.
With low ES absorb you will need a large life pool. With no investment in that area, it appears this will not happen.
You have no mana. Without the use of SoJs, Frosties and all sorts of + mana you are going to have low mana - all energy points or not.
You have no resists- fade notwithstanding. This is normally ok with ES builds, however you aren't a full ES build nor do you have exceptional mana. I see you suffering greatly with poor resistances.
You have no block. Again this is a-okay with ES builds, but see above commentary.
Your strength investment will be astronomical. COA takes 174 and you are only getting + from anni and torch. Ouch...:shocked:

I think the boots are an ok choice. OW will serve you well.

Highlords is not a good choice. DS is not going to do any real good, considering the majority of your damage will be coming from Enchant. I'd pick Cat's eye before Highlord's and Metalgrid before that. This build is probably going to be lacking some AR, Metalgrid would do nicely.

Gloves: As you will be doing low physical damage (700ED on a 35 base PB) leech won't be neccessary. I would recommend switching out the gloves for something that gives + to stats or something. Besides you are using redemption, who needs leech?

DR is solid.

If you are really concerned with 1 Hit killing, just grab an infinity merc. Conviction will drop their resistances sufficiently without heading into the overrated runewords.

1-Hit kill builds... Unless you are planning not to fight swarms I don't see how this will be effective. I don't see you moseying into CS to 1 hit KO the monsters 1 by 1. I would opt for zeal if you want to attempt higher end areas. You also appear to only have 60FHR- for a sorc this is 8 frames. I would assume you would be put in hit recovery lock often in large groups.

actually, my buddy threw together a cheap enchanter for lvling. using 2 comps he can get a char to lvl 25 in 15-30 minutes. ever seen a lvl 20 cow himself in an 8 player game, taking out large groups of cows with single arrows?

so, they have another use.

what if i use some frosties, and metalgrid and take away the ice armors to fully synergize my es???
max block THEN all the rest in energy....or is this overkill in the opposite direction??
