But where is it? I've already searched through a couple dozen pages of posts, both here and on the amazon forum - though I could've sworn that it was posted here, by Speederlander (sorry about the lack of accent there, I don't know ascii codes).

I've tried to get it to work based on what I do remember, but I generally end up throwing the jav, running up, and cs'ing in melee... obviously, not what I am trying to accomplish. Any help that you guys can give me would be appreciated.

If you do a search for "Speederlander farcast" you'll find it quoted in the middle of the first page of one of those threads. AFAIK, when you do it manually you can only do one attack at a time, i.e. if you pull off a farcast and just continue to hold the mouse button down you won't continue farcasting (you probably already know this, just trying to cover all grounds).

Also, in my experience, the timing is quite a bit quicker than how the original poster explained it. He mentions "one-one-thousand" but for me when I got it to work it was much quicker.

ok here goes again:

hotkey the cs (charged strike) and throw next to each other on the same mouse (e.g left click)
P.S(i am using x for cs and c for throw)

1) hold shift while performing or not is up to you
2) put you mouse over to the other guys hard to get a name lock
3) switch from cs to throw and back to cs REAL quick (for me it's x-c-x)
or have cs already on left click and only press (c-x)
4) click quickly (about less than 1/3 of a sec) AFTER you pressed the cs hotkey at step 3

practice more and it'll be very easy. oh you need good internet connection to
do farcasting quick.

rofl.. surprisingly there are still FCing zons that die even though they use FC.

well isn't FCing considered BM even though some people think it isn't a glitch?

if ur a clan dueler etc yes it is a bm move but still i think its legit, like dsyc u cant complain when this happenes its just another technique in duel.

And if ur a pub dueler u cant cry or complain cuz pub duels are never really too good mannered anyway.

However they are ppl that cant do this legitimately, i.e using haxs and 3rd part programs to do this.

oh.. but lemme clear this doubt about desynch in my head; desynching(for eg: hammerdins) is something like an "invisible" hammer that is casted when charging and hammering? or desynch is not seeing the person on your screen/map but the person is actually there?

Yes, but that's only on your screen. On the other person's screen he is there, usually.

As for the 3rd party FC, it's easily indentified by 2 things:

1) Super-fast FC (like 2-5 times faster than normally)
2) the only attack the ama uses is FC.
3) she can FC off-screen (impossible legitly)

I think, for the sake of argument, I should explain WHY I wanted to learn to farcast. I actually have little/no interest in Javazons (aside from being able to say I can, gogo bragging rights). However, I heard a rumor that it was possible to farcast a necro's poison dagger move - and so I figured, learn to farcast with CS, then once I am capable of doing that, switch over and give it a try on the nec.

Desynch = desynchronization.
It has little to do with specific skills, as it is a general effect.
Basically, what you see client-side isn't what's truly happening server-side, which is what counts. You're getting a somewhat lagged version of it - and whatever's desynching isn't showing up where it really is.

lol.. need to use farcast to win? zzzzzzp.
It's not a matter of *needing* it. It's a matter of efficiency, and it's just another method to use, to reach your goal. Ie, your dead opponent. Pvp's entirely about efficiency.

just as a note it's not easy to pull off farcast legitly in an intense duel. it's not like you can do it in one click, so i dont think it's bm to a point which it's overpowering because it take practice to perform it fast plus it dont always hit for some reason.

yes the aura stacks on duel dooms but a merc or player using doom and holyfreeze aura does not stack

Interesting point about the necro poison dagger.. If it worked it would be pretty hilarious. However I don't see the point as when you're a poison necro most ppl aren't going to be running away from you (as opposed to running from a javazon). From my experience when jav's try to legitly farcast it takes awhile. . .

It's not like its hard to kill farcasters anyway. They usually stand right outside of town, then you just minion stack and tele plus namelock them.
