Need some advice with javazon

I have started with d2 hc again. Thinking about to build a javazon with plague javelin as one of the attacks but is it lightning fury that is best or should i use lightning strike instead?? I'm going to use a bow on the switch with guided arrow.

And what about Dodge, Avoid and Evade ?? How many skill points are they worth??

Could need some advice are more used to play as paladin but wanted to try something new.

Lightning fury is the crowd killer, that is for sure. Charged Strike is the boss killer. Personally I've never used Lightning strike except as a synergy. Guided arrow is pretty weak now, so you might want to think about another skill. Most people get dodge, avoid, and evade up to around 50% after plus skills. Depending upon your equipment 1-2 points is usually sufficient, but again, depends upon how many +skills you have.

for all but the most extreme cases, charged strike (with a lower resist wand on switch) kills single targets faster than guided arrow with ANY bow. i don't think there are really any practical use for bows.

for the passives, it all depends on how much +skill gear you have available. i try to get them to ~40%.

after lightning fury and charged strike are maxed, id put the rest into charged strike synergies. cs is really powerful once you run bosses.

The only worthwhile "synergy" to Lightning Fury is Pierce. All those 1% synergies are pointless if all you use is LF (they are well worth it if you use other lightning skills though, especially Charged Strike). Razortail is your best, cheapest option for the belt slot as it can easily max out your chance to pierce and exponentially increase your effective LF damage (bolts are released everytime your jav hits / pierces through an enemy).

17 is the magic number for Valkyrie. Either leave her at base and only use her sparingly or get her to slvl 17 with +skills and keep her out at all times.

D/A/E is also up to personal preference. I try to keep them at 1/1/1 and let +skills do the rest, but I've been known to go as high as about 4/2/4 before gear. As xey said, ~40% is plenty here.

I tried a Plague Jav / LF build once and wasn't too impressed. Pure lightning seems to work better for me.

The problem with poison+lightning is that gloams are immune to both. Getting through the game might work fine, but if you start baaling the poison won't really help you at all.

Guided arrow is kind of meaningless since 1.10 thanks to uber mercs (for LIs) and Charged Strike (for bosses and other single targets). Plus GA was nerfed or fixed, but either way it's a shadow of it's 1.09 anscestor.

If you want a hybrid I'd suggest Frozen Arrow. Infact, I suggest LF+FA even if you don't want a hybrid because I love FA.
