need advice on es and max block

Well ive decided to make a blizzard sorc with full tals set. that is gona be mainly for mfing and rushing. and teleporting lots :).

1. Should i use SS with full tals and go for full block? is it worth it?
2. Is it worth investing a point in energy shield or should i leave it because it takes up a few skill points that would reduce my damage. but then again i do play in hc so i dont know.
3. about how much dex is required to have full block at lets say about lvl 70 - 90?

i dont play HC but i think the consensus here as I have read is that for HC you usually go max block. And usually with max block you dont use ES...

You can use this formula to check how much dex you need for max block

shield %block * (dexterity-15)/(character level * 2) = total blocking %

if going max block, dont go es route as its not applied to es. max vita.
