need hc SORC advice

Well ive decided to make a blizzard sorc. that is gona be mainly for mfing and rushing. and teleporting lots :).

1. Should i use SS with full tals and go for full block? is it worth it?
2. Is it worth investing a point in energy shield.
3. about how much dex is required to have full block at lets say about lvl 70 - 90?

easiest way to find what u like most is making it in sp :P i dunno why you'd need much block with blizz sorc since you shouldnt be in the fray ><

Anyways, Tal's is horrible for porting, no tgods adds sooooooo much extra risk that you just don't need. SS + Tals is reasonably solid for most things, but I tried it on baals and it struck me as far too fragile for my tastes after running through convic gloams for the second time.

Block with SS should be a given so far as I'm concerned, if a person wants to debate block vs no block then fine, but so far as I'm concerned that's for people who want to wear spirit or something. SS has good block, there is no reason to not take advantage of it. You're looking at 235 dex for 99 give or take a bit iirc, though I could be mistaken. If you're asking because you're not sure how many points to put into dex before 73 you have a couple options, either look up the block formula and do some math, or wear a similar block shield until then... upped mosers is a good choice.

As for ES... If you put a point in it, you should drop a blizzard synergy and max telekinisis. You'll still kill just fine, but you won't be out of mana nearly as often while porting. I know various people who have used this build and I don't think I've heard one complaint. Hell, I tried dropping 2 synergies and going for TK + Port and I was still killing fine, not as fast obviously but still reasonable speed. Whether or not you put a point there is up to you, but if you. I would, but I'd recommend you try both ways on SP and see which you prefer. Just make sure that if you DO put a point in ES you also have TK maxed.
