I guess tossing a dagger rather then playing captain stabbin with it.
Throwingdaggers for the world I guess. Get some on your poison nec and see if that woiks.
Bessides that, at least your throwing daggers will never run out of dura if you descide to be a stabatha.
Downside would offcourse be missing the mods you now have on your +2 nec dagger.

A small price to pay for the ability to attack from afrar. Wihout this, how is are you gonna manage to stab someone without them getting in your face?

sounds like a fun build, what kind of gear would you want for this character? I'd think twitch would be a good armor for the IAS, but not sure what kind of breakpoints you will need as whether to opt for 30ias set (sigs or death) or instead just go for standard skill/life/resist/fhr type rares.

Yesterday someone accused my bowazon of using a farcast hack :(

Poison Dagger nec would be fun though, I already have a lvl 56 poison nec this lad (and an 86 from LS1)

I just tried it in singleplayer, I didn't manage to throw a poisondagger? I tried all combinations of throwing skill, poisondagger skill, left and right mouseclick?

Hooo noooooooo.
I should have never posted this in that What Should I Make thread. -__-

I've been contemplating a poison dagger FC mancer for a very long time.
Tell me how yours comes out.

It looks like you throw a dagger, but you're actually doing the 'desynch' thing and Pdaggering them.

It's really hard to do on SP, since you need to rely on natural lag in order to get your rythym down.

Might try this myself. You can get throwing daggers with +2necro can't you, or is that just in LoD?

cool idea but once you hit them with that poison a firegolem would be good to have with you psn brings them down to 1 health then the holy fire will take the 1 health out

How does someone farcast? Dont you need to use hacks for that? I have been thinking of farcasting for my throwing barb. I just dont quite know how to do it yet.

Hmmm, is there any "farcastable" skill in barb tree? What could you use? Berserk?

Yes, but looking at any of the weapons which a barb could potentially use for this, the damage is just too low, even with Bezerk's +435% Magic damage at level 20.
let's consider a Spiculum with 13 to 38 (25.5 Avg) damage.
167.28 average damage per hit with mastery, if every one of your hits comes off as a farcast.
That would almost be feasable if you didn't have to go to Hell and meet monsters like the Maw Fiend with it's 11k - 19k life. :)
You would require 65 consequative succesfull farcasts to be able to kill off a sickly, elderly Maw Fiend.

imho, I don't think it is feasable. But I must be on a negative vibe here. :)

Well, the use of farcast is for PvP. In PvM is just better walk to the monster and whack him in the head.

The monster was a example and mind you more feasable to kill then a player. A monster will at least stand still every now and then while a player just tends to move around or at least step aside when he sees a projectile comming at him.
The monster can also be kept at bay with simple means like clegs while a player will simply zigzag around your projectiles to have a heart to heart with you.
If it's already not feasable for killing a maw fiend, I don't expect it to work in pvp. These things, tough as nails are a good test of damage, wouldn't you agree ? Just don't test your poison necro on them. :)
