hammerdin help needed^^

got a 98 hammerdin atm(20 hammer 20conc 20 synergies 20 holyshield 1 medi 1 fana) that wants to play pvp, with max block. the 1fana is for eventual smiting if it needs an explanation.

gear i currently have available and consider viable:
helms: kiras, coa(berber), 08 valk, 2pala/20fcr/2sock circ
weapons: hoto scrouge, wiz, grief phase
amu: 2pal/20fcr/18prism/48coldres, mara, 2/10/~30stat amu
shield: upped hoz, spirit sacred targe 35fcr 45res, storm
belt: arach, verd
gloves: trang, magefist
rings: sojs, raven+fcr ring
boots: guess 4x 4x 4x resistboots or hotspurs are the only options^^

im basically wondering what the best setup is for a pub 125cast hammer is. i want to play an arressive desynch style with some tele on top mixed, not a pure defensive desynch style~~

you might wanna add some real nice res sanctuary.
I have 98res sacred targe and with all bonuses it gives me 75 block and stacked res.
As for the tacticks i really can't tell you much as i am having the same dilemma.
i'd say its impossible to keep 125 fcr using melee set up i.e grief coa. you can get 75 fcr which is going to be enough to cherge hemmer imo.
anyway probably its better to post in paly forum as ppl there know better:prop:

hmm i uses a mage which is simmular enough but as for a mele setup i dont see how u can hit 125% fcr u will more likely drop to the 75% fcr which is not a huge difference vs mele.

Also smite without fana allready hits it 6 fps smite i think 6 or 7 definetly one of the 2 if ur using a pb.

20fc amu, verdugos,coa, 20fc tranggloves, 40fc hoto,10fc ring, 35fc spirit=125cast/50dr =)

you're right about not being able to get it with grief ofcourse(well 2 soj, spirit valk arach amu tranggloves would get me there but i sacrifice huge DR then~~)

im pretty sure i need fana for max smitespeed O_o

I would recommend using hoz over spirit incase you want to do some gear switch and use SS instead. Then you'll still have 125%fcr and max block.

Agreed. Seems like you can get an upp'ed hoz easily anyway.

For Smiting, you will need atleast a Raven, for cbf and +Dex for Grief PB.

I would've pumped Smite / Fanat if will do any serious smiting rather than maxing HS.

Consider using Viper Bludgeon? A good vb / hoz hammerdin with 75% FCR is enough to own anyone with some desynch.

I really advise Bloodfist, unless you really need that fcr from Trang's. As for boots an Imp or WB will be much better than Hotspur's. You really need that +str for CoA and fhr for 86% bp.

Smite can be extremely effective, especially against Sins and Zons.

That paly will own pub much more than your druid, and complete wreckage with some sorb. :tongue:

Just bo and then switch the cta setup to a grief setup if there are revive necs or something, or have someone else bo you if a friend is there.

IMO you don't need 125 fcr for pubs. I do fine with 75 in pubs, except for bowazons and trappers. For those I suggest a doomz and use conc+charge on em.

Ehh? and that means? I have never played Europe, but VB is an actual rare... most duped, but not impossible to get perm for 4 imps. Unless they have different rares in Europe? :shocked:
