Last night I had my lvl 50 necro TPPK'd, a druid was firing stuff across me and boom I just died before I could react.
So I have another character I will be playing, a ES sorc and I really don't want to be PKd. I have played my SC sorc quite a bit and I don't really get 1-shotted by anything at all at lvl 90. But this worries me.
"5. Assume everyone is a cheater. People can lag/hack/freeze you and then kill you before you time out. Even better, solo in remote areas. Sure, you can’t leech experience, but you get all the drops. You might to need to mule a few items over to your character, but hey, freedom from being PK’ed is worth it, right? If you’re soloing, and no-one knows where you are – you have no chance of being PK’ed."
If people can lock up other players and still play themselves that is a huge problem, not even the best player in the world could survive that if the PK was already in range, so is the only answer to not play in public games?
I'm sure this has already been beat to death too, but the town portal PK bull**** could be fixed pretty easy by implimenting a hostile delay on any action, if you move, cast portal, swap equipment, anything it would reset your timer and you have to wait 10 seconds before declaring hostility.
