View Full Version : looking for some real stopping power

ok so my zon is lvl 87, strafe/multi, faith bowazon, kiras, fort, cats eye (atmas in full games) war travs, etc.

i built this char to run the chaos sanctuary in full games, but i feel like i'm lacking that real punishing damage (i'm doing 2.8k strafe w/ might merc)

besides a pride, is my only option just stocking up on max dmg charms?

minimal str after torch + anni (if rich) + any other charms/str equipment
gmb faith instead of mat
better charms
pride

Get Hayes hydraulic disc brakes, Avid CPS mechanicals, or Avid Ti or SD 7.

isnt WF better at pvm because of ITD ?

not when you've got a faith. generally bowamas have huge amounts of dex which adds a lot to ar. that ar combined with the 300% ar boost from faith and the 1xx%ar boost from the fanat aura on faith plus atleast one point in penetrate which further boosts ar is more than sufficient to hit atleast 10kar strafe.

penetrate + a few skills + 400-500 dex = hit everything easily in hell

and wf doesn't let you hit 7/2 with 90-95 ias

One thing you should know that WF, although powerful still needs alot of max damage charms and War Travs, since the added damage will be modified by the dex bonus.

no, all it says is that you've got a higher possible damage with windforce, i'd rather use a faith on a bower rather than a wf just because it's far more practical and you don't have to rely on a merc to be able to hit a decent attack speed with it.
