That is the only way to truly easily beat them.

Cyclone armor / ES is included as well.

Only exceptions are other fohers and maybe trappers.

I play a FoH pally primarily in pvp. I have trouble against the following:


1- Charge.
2- Cyclone armor.
3- Traps when used in conjunction with mind blast.
4- Decent bowzons(ability dodge FoH, they also have fast fire rate with high damage, can use valk and decoy to draw FoH fire sometimes).
5- Necros who stack minions.



That's pretty much it... the above pose a serious problem to FoH paladins.

The problem with charge, is that, even if it misses or if you block, it will still knock you back over and over... if you're doing team pvp, I guess disregard all of the above.

If u play on europe: 2x viper eye rings (they got 63 light 11X ar etc), kiras, bitters/carrions, tgods, highlords(or the 70light res amu we've got on eu too :P)

maybe ur not stackingproperly.

vs pure foh u still need like 200 light res stack and for res stack to work proeprly, u should be at max res before u apply the shield so that means after the aura and facets u still have max res.

or ur life could be low

It's not that I'm taking huge damage from fohs, it's I can't seem to hit them without having to tank 4 fohs first. And my res is stacked even without the shield. I have
23 from maras
31 from hoto
69 from pdiamond hoz
10 from torch
13 from anni
8 from a lc
4 from a sc
and 30 from quest

That's 85 in hell.

Thats not stacked. That's 85 in hell. Stacked means, having additonal resist, beyond max resist so that when conviction + facets apply, you're still at max resist.

As Xenon said, you need to take into account of the -150% resist with conviction and any facets they have with -resist.

Best way to see if you're stacking is get a FoH friend and use conviction on you and check your resist.

A pure foh can negate a total of -190 to -200 light res. This is with a 5 sock foh septer with 5+ light res and 5- light res and a perfect Griffon helm with a perf facet.

a foh/smiter at max can take off like -175% light res depending on the setup.

best way to kill foh pally. bone nec with stacked resist. mine had well over 300+ resist. just boneprison/spear and hes screwed.
