I know there is a consensus about melle amazons not being able to beat smiters, but I know that fury druids can manage to do this by using long range weapons. What if we used longer ranged weapons?
Can smite be dogded? if so should we use jab, or zeal?
We would need six or less frame attack speed to ensure that we attack before them. We wouldnt need a shield, since smite is unblockable anyway, so we could use long range, high damage two handers. If smiter is running towords us then it would be much easier since he would have his block much reduced. If he is walking, things would be much more difficult but since we attack before him, blocking animation would prevent him smiting(even if only for 2 frames).
Jab or zeal? Jab would be faster then zeal, but if we miss our attack, he hits us, we dodge, then our next two attacks auto miss too,and this is enough time for him to do a second smite. Zeal would be slower, and wouldn't allow such a high damage, but would'nt be so reliable on the first hit.
