Ummed Gullies
Angelic Comb
15% IASed Duriel's Shell
Beastzerker
PDiamonded SS
Dracs
Dungos
Goreriders

CTA and Sigon Sheild on Switch

The usual passives in skills.

I'm thinking of turning it into this, any ideas how this will work?

Ummed Gullies
Angelic Ammy
Angelic Ring/Raven Frost
Duress Boneweave
Beastzerker
PDiamonded SS
Dracs
Nos Coil
Goreriders

Better CB (80%) and OW (93%) and Defence with only 10% less Resists....but then I get no Vita and DR from Dungos...but I do gain slow and some more LL. I lose a bit of AR, but gain Cold Absorb. What do you guys say?

why angelic combo on a zon?

just max penetrate instead and get some AR charms

this will let you use dual raven and highlords

I used Angelics so I could max out Critical, Dodge, Avaid, and Avoid, and put in my pre reques.

I could however, put the rest of my points into Penetrate and if I have enough AR I'll use Dual and Highlords.

weapon is to slow. check attackspeed charts for amabear. gris caddy with 95 ias is needed for 4 fps

Yah but Caddy has no Fanaticism...No CB...No OW....No strength. I think you get way more AR, damage, and quicker and most efficient prebuff with Beastzerker as main weapon.

Fortitude armor will get you way better damage than Duriel's, and you won't lose much in the resists department - in fact you'll gain in some. It will also help your defense a bit.

The whole idea of this Bear is that it damages with CB and OW. It's not really PvP...mostly PvM. I attack fast enough to deal alot quickly. I'm thinking about Duress for the added CB, OW, and nice cold damage.

Hmm. You have a point there.

First of all let me tell you that when you want to play pvm you can tank very much damage, but that it is pretty difficult to get hits in in crowded areas. The moment you get swarmed by monsters you will be dodgelocked, in hit recovery, a lot of the time and so now and then will be able to hit.
That doesn't mean pvm is impossible, just make sure you don't get swarmed and try to use some crowd control skills that takes some of the heat off of you. Delirium is a top notch example of this with ctc confuse and mindblast.

Also weaponspeed is pretty important , because it will make it easier to get hits in, since your attack is highly interruptable.

Best setup would be i think the following:
Grief pb with 32 or more ias (yy i always say grief but it's simply too good)
Duress armor
Guillaumes
Gores
String of ears, tgods or verdungo's
Highlords
Dualravens
Draculs (lifetap is just too sweet, otherwise crafted cb gloves)

you get 6frame heavy damage attack combined with 65-75%cb, 50%dr, 68%ow, 70%fhr (get 16% on charms), some venom from grief. Your res will suffer a bit but make that up with charms. If you don't want grief then take your beast and hit 7fpa. Let me remind you that beast repaircosts suck. Forti is a possability but not really needed i think and will be annoying with repaircosts too in pvm.

Shaeled Stormlash is also an interesting weapon regarding to attackspeed.
According to the calculator i use, it hits 7fpa with 10% additional ias but even better it hits 6fpa with 80% ias. Now the question is if you can get 80% ias without loosing too much crushing blow (open wounds doesnt do that much in pvm).

If you would use a treachery you get 45% ias, additional lvl 15 venom and lvl 15 fade wich means you have 50%dr with storm and big resistances. Highlords for 20% ias and some beefy deadly strike that combines nice with your critical strike. 65% ias already, you only need 15% more. So socket your helm with a jewel so you can still use draculs for ow/lifetap.

Gear would be something like this.

Helm : Guillaumes 35%cb,15%ds, 30%fhr socketed ias jewel (maybe with res)
Weapon: Shaeled Stormlash 33%cb , ctc static
Armor: Treachery 45%ias, fade (so 15%dr, 60allres) venom
Gloves: Draculs lifetap+25% ow
Belt: open for choice
Boots: Gore riders 15% cb, 10%ow, 15%ds
Amulet: Highlords
Rings: Ravens for ar

You would end up with a 6frame attack with 83%cb, 35%ow, 15%ctc static, 60% ds (combined with critical strike every hit does double damage)

Dr: 50%
Res: 30torch+anni, 60treachery, 79cold+light 19fire,poison from ss+hl. Total= +69 light+cold, 9 fire and poison. So you should try to get a ias/fire res jewel for your guillaumes. and fill up the rest with charms. Also you still got your beltslot open.
Try getting a 24fhr open wounds crafted belt with either fire or poison res or just use tgods.

For merc i would take holy freeze and make sure to give him a delirium.
Try make some calculations using a defiance merc and maybe then with forti's cold armor to see how high you get your def up. If monsters can't hit you you won't have trouble being locked.
That will provide nice crowd control. A merc is pretty much essential for this build.
A nice tanking valk will prove usefull too.

Gris caddy is not a real option i think. Although you hit fast your damage will almost only consists of damage inflicted by crushing blow and open wounds. It will still take many hits to finish a monster.

And yes you should max penetrate. You have enough skills to do so and it will help you more then 1 or 2% more d/e/a.

I hope this helps a bit. It's late so i may have made some mistakes :D
