I just found thunderstroke, and was thinking of turning my Ice Maiden to lightning-cold instead off Freezing Arrow with strafe/multishot as back up.

20 Freezing Arrow
20 Cold Arrow
20 Lightning Fury

Rest should go into Pierce/Valk so each reaches 100% pierce/lvl17 respectively I guess. What about the rest of the points?

Also, as I understand Ice Runeword is the god for ice maidens, but got a question on the lightning side. What shield should I use and are is there a javelin better then thunderstrokes?

If you use LF I can't see any point not using Titan. You will need the increased stack size and replenish quanity for spaming LF.

Shield-wise stormshield can't be wrong but you can get more LF dmg with spirit then it fall on your style...

you're going to have SERIOUS mana problems with this build.

but then you can't use an infinity which would considerably increase killing speed.

mana leach ? mana after kill ? mayb put some points in multi or strafe for fast leech

so thats another 20 points into a skill, leaving you with very low passives, a weak valk, no pierce etc. i just don't think this build would be very effective. youll be wanting to hit a decent frame with FA so you'll be looking at using lots of ias gear which means mana leech will be harder to get, both FA and LF require huge amounts of mana and generally require large amounts of attacks to kill most things at over 20 mana per attack this starts to add up and MAK items dont provide enough mana for this to be effective.

Lidless Wall or Silkweaves would help. The may not completely solve the issue but they'll make a nice dent in it. My LF zon has Silkweaves and still has to down an occasional blue pot, but its not too bad. She's SP so no insight either.

As for skills, If you want to kill bosses regularly, I would put 20 in Charged Strike, If you won't be killing bosses except for questing, it may be a waste.

As usual, I'll also argue against putting very many points in pierce. I know its importance but with 1 hard point, a few plus skills, and razortail you can easily have over 90% pierce.

Meh, use an ice matriarchal, shako with ias, and treachery. Then soj raven, frosties, and silkweave. With razortail.

Edit: Then a high res amulet like maras or metalgrid.
