I'm fully aware that it's not VIABLE, but I'm wondering... is it POSSIBLE to make an axeazon that doesn't get her side handed to her every time she steps out of town? I just found an ethereal champion axe, thinking about making botd in it - with 40 more ias (highlord or cat's eye, and gloves) it'll get the fastest attack possible ... that is... err... 10 frames per swing. =/


I'm thinking, max the p/m's - valk, decoy, penetrate, and spend the rest of the points wherever. I'm concerned about dodgelock, though, and so I might end up having more points than I require. Anyone got ideas/suggestions/something to cure insanity?

::Edit:: Another ias possibility would be the amulet with bloodfists/nos coil - adds strength and slow, which could help, a LOT.

How about a throwing zon? I've seen a zon use something like a eth warshike or eth lacerator throwing weapon. She looked pretty cool and dealt decent damage from the looks of it. You could do the math and figure it out.

just be aware that the zon's usually excellent FBR breakpoints will suck when using a swinging weapon, ie the axe

edit: are you just going to use normal attack?

Yes, I am - and I'm going to use a two handed axe, so faster block rate is rather a moot point. :D

Jamiroquai - I considered a daggerzon, but decided against it simply because... well, because. I COULD use a throwing weapon, but I'd have to find an eth lacerator or an eth warshrike (hard to do since I'm building this zon on NL), and I really just can't be bothered.

And yes, I plan on using just normal attack. Normal attack, with a huge two handed slow as anything axe, relying on merc/valk/decoy to keep the heat off of me, and probably liberal use of slow missiles as well.
