Equiping Merc with items

Hi guys,

ive touched on this before but never asked this obvious question

are there any other item attributes that have no effect when worn by the Merc other than Prevent Monster Heal?

The CTC on Peace doesn't work on mercs :P

+vitality
+mana regeneration
Those have no effect on mercs either.

No items with + to class specific skills, skill trees or all skills for a specific class work, with the exception of the act 5 barb merc. Items with + all skills work.

+% damage taken goes to mana (they don't have mana)
all current oskills
merc's ai doesn't know how to use them
if the oskill was for a merc's native skill, then it would work.

Does this remain true with weapons that have a property like +3 Fire Skills?

so having guardian angel templar coat does not give my merc the +1 to pally skills?

Act 2 mercs have paladin auras, but they are not actually paladins.

okies thx for the replies guys

I have now swapped his kracken shell (amazing 1700+Def) for a Duress wyrmhide with all those nice stats crushing blow, open wounds, faster recovery
I have also noticed he now also makes a dent in those nasty physical imunes out there im guesing thats the cold damage kicking in Oh yeah!
