I'm 90% sure atleast 2 people are going to laugh at me/call me a "nub". ANYWAY:

Is it possible to make runewords in wirt's leg? Some friends and I were talkin about exotic "builds" while doing tristram runs when this came to me: A barbarian who uses Wirt's Leg as his only weapon, and has a name themed along the lines of Wirt. I know it's possible to get the leg imbued, and put gems/jewels/runes in it; so here is my ultimate question:

What's the strongest possible Wirt's Leg one could create, and how? Also, is it possible to trick the game into letting me have 2 Wirt's Legs in my inventory, so I could utilize frenzy?

No, it is not possible to create RuneWords in Wirt's Leg.

A former member of the Single Player forum had a dual Wirt's Leg wielding barbarian, which he was able to beat Hell Baal with. He used to have a website devoted to it, but I don't think it's active any longer. I believe he had to mod the game to be able to wield two legs at once, however. Try a search for fartarian.

No runewords in wirt's leg. There was a single player tournament requiring all characters to use wirt's leg only. It's a good read if you can find it.
