WWS Strafazon Question

ok so this little build has caught my eye recently, but honestly how is she in hell. all the builds ive been seeing consist of either base vitality or not much at all, and everyone wears that twitchthroe armor, it just seems like she'd be weak in hell

this is a cheap build so there's no point wearing "godly" armour like a fortitude with this build hence the twitchthroe, this build kills fine and mine is well capable of soloing all areas in hell if you have the patience.

My WWS strafer can solo all of hell, no problem.
Kills baal fast also, only has trouble with diablo and his stinkin spells.

I did a lot of travinkal runs with her, pindel runs, everything runs, can solo all of hell, and patience is not realy an issue.

it's been fairly easy for me. just starting act 2 and she went through act 1 like a breeze.

rare circlet - +106 Lightning damage, 6 to strength, 30% lightning resist

at lvl 16 my vakyrie does as much damage as my might merc, which is pretty damn good considering my merc's got a Bonehow.

I don't really understand this fetish some people have for Twitchthroe armor. It sucks compared to some of the other non-godly options out there -mainly TREACHERY. Yes, its an assassin armor, but look at what it gives a strafer for the low cost and requirements. (LEM, anyone?). My WWS strafer was quite effective, low base vitality and all. No godly gear here.

Konfu, How do you manage to kill Baal in hell so fast? I do pretty good damage (with either my WWS or my WF) and I still have to rest a stapler on my mouse button and go make a sanwich when I fight Baal.

the only thing i consider to be good on a treachery is the ctc venom, i can hit 8 frame attack with standard bowa gear so that 45ias is of no need to me, that fade is also useless because i need to get hit a few times for it to activate, not something you want to be doing with a fragile ama. and, most importantly twitchthroe is the best looking armour for an ama period.

when all you have is a normal character with a few gems treachery is not an option

and you can't equip treachery at level 16

I use a ton of dmg charms, Duress armor and some 313 psn dmg SC that I found. It helps a lot when killing baal. And LoH as a must. 8/2 strafe is so god damn fast.

Btw, I just found a pair of 2 passiv, 20 ias, 6 dex, 19 mf, 34 mana gloves, woot!

How does this build fare in Act5 5-8 player Hell? My friend tried this build a while ago and was dissapointed.. I might try this build as well.

Oh my, I just made a WF strafe + MS zon, and killed baal with her... now I know what you mean SLOW.
It's something I don't understand realy, but my WWS kills him MUCH MUCH faster...

And for general pvm playing... WSS >> WF for me.

Made bouth builds with similar eqiup and charms, and... when you start planing a WF strafer and WSS strafer you will see the difference in speed at that point, and later on it only gets worse... WWS rox!
