Exactly what is this or who is this, please? I see pindle and pindleskin everywhere, tournaments, runs...

Pindle is a uinque npc in act 5 with nice drops

It's the unique boss when you go into the red portal opened by Anya in act5 (after you rescue her in the third quest).

I don't think it ever does. Once you save Anya, it just stays open.
Am I right here, guys? :listen:

It closes if you do both of the following:

1) Get the Halls of xxx waypoint (of Vaught or of Pain?)
2) Kill Nihlathak for the quest

Is it definitely both, because I can live without the WP to keep that open. I didn't know what caused it to close the first time through.

Yes, baffle is right. If you do only one thing of these two, the portal will remain. It's also easy to check in game - check if your character have both quest done and Hall of XX WP. If not, then there is something strange.

afaik yes, but it takes a while and not really worth it.

best if u create a char who mf / keyruns nith and another who does nith.

My key-runner still goes through Pindy on the way to Nihl, course she's not in it for speed as much as MF on the side. Pindy really got nerf'd on one of the last up-grades and his drops aren't as good as they once were, but still an easy MF.
