Hello veryone, Im curious if such a build would work. i just reached level 30 tonight in act IV and slightly worried i didnt realize i needed sacrifice zeal etc for fist of the heavens. Im just trying to get a a decent not to powerful but balanced pvm hammerdin/foh i guesss i want a mix of undead slayer and crowd control spellcasting. My question is would i end up being to weak trying to find a balance between atleast one point of holy shock a few in holybolt say 7 and max foh while maxing blessed hammer with maybe 10points of blessed aim/vigor would i need several +skill items for htis to work. here is my current gear setup
nightmare longsword-spirit
crownshield-ancientspledge upgrade to spirit maybe?
armor- hawkmail soon to be Guardian angel.
rings: manald heal/ faster cast
amulet +1 skills
i have points saved up to this point i wasted a point in holy level 2 holybolt convinced i would be foh-blessed hammer im not so sure now shoudl i play this build out and just dump points for fist of the heavens or focus purely on blessed hammer and its synergies.

Hammer/foh hybrid exists and it is called mage. It is a powerful pvp build. For pvm you simply don't need foh. There is nothing that foh can offer you over hammers in pvm. If you wish to go this way just take a look around for builds/threads on mage.

dont make a mage for pvm... its strictly a pvp build... if anything just continue pumping up hammer synergies (9k hammers is all u need for pvm... of course the higher the better but i found this is all the damage i need)

Yes, and be warned that without godly gears a mage will have low damage. All hybrid builds basically need good gears to support their damage and defense.

mage's are godly for pvm too. For example on brs. If there is another hammer who use conc, then mage put on conv and stil get ~~11k hammer dmg. There was NO elite baalruner who claim for my mage even if i was not casting hammers :)

Depends what you call 'low' dmg. Mage can have relatively good dmg pvp-wose. Getting up to 9k-10k hammer with a strong foh.

and viet has one of the godliest mage i've seen.

Yeah but you're talking about some really good gears here. Otherwise a pure hammerdin can't even have 9-10k hammer if he's poor.

If someone ever considers making a PvP Mage. My assumption would be that the person is rich.
