oath on an uber runner?

i have an oath eth small crescent and was wanting to make a smiter for ubers/dclone. i read the guide which features 1 point in smite and was wondering how this would do. i SHOULD have enough to get the rest of the gear and maybe a real low grief phase blade, but it'd help if i could get by with the oath.

what do you guys think? is the grief worth the cost?

Can you do it with an oath small crescent? Yes ,oath is a very good weapon,especially for the price. Just watch your speed cause sc is a slow base. In my opinion grief worths every single extra rune you'll spend for it but oath will work nicely too.

if i make my fort out of a 515 sup wire fleece would it be enough defense? or should i try to get something heavier?

Yes, uber running doens't require huge defense at all, and that armor will give enough provided you has max holy shield and a good shield.

Conviction will lower your defense to a relatively pitiful lvl anyways.

But in uber trist there is no need for defense. It's all elemental attacks on you.

mayb u should go with duress, for more resist, and ow and cb. just my 0,02 $

Fort has more res than Duress...if you get a ~30 res all one (not that hard to do, cuz I've made quite a few 29-30 Forts).
