I recently have leveled my character to level 65 and have my gear planned out. Here is what he has:
CoA (2x 40%ED/-15%req)
Fortitude Archon
EBOTDZ
HOZ (um)
Angelic (Ammy 2x Rings)
Bloodfist
GoreRiders
Verdungos
Torch/Anni
My first question is, how much will a PCombat charm change my damage compared to +5max/AR large charms (Yes I have one of these I also have +3s).
Second, what is the name of the Chargedin again? Cant remember.
Last, Explain the strength bug and what is the least strength I can get away with considering torch anni?
Thanks

This is really dissapointing that no one has any responses. Aren't Chargedins popular? What's up. Please answer my questions.

First of all, your gear looks pretty good and there is no need for a pheonix since you need some defense and resists from hoz which is crucial againt casters. And by the way I personally think a shako would be pretty good for this build since it gives so much mana which can allow you not to use bloodfist. I mean really, it's just some caster gloves, so you need something like steelrend or dracs which are godly for melee characters. And the rest looks fine, just remember that the 25% chance for open wounds from the dracs might be good for your charger.
And the name of a charger: crusader.
Last but not the least, I think a pcombat will raise your damage more than these +max/ar ones since your weapon has a really high base damage and thus any additional ED will boost it well. And the strength bug is a bug where you can put some +strength gear on, wear something heavier than your base strength allows, then take off the +strength gears and still be able to use the heavy items. For example, if you have 60 base strength but need to wear a 80 strength armor which has +25 strength mod itself, you can put on a 60 strength shield with +20 to strength. So after putting on the shield you can also wear the armor now. But then you take the shield off and you can still wear the armor since the +25 strength mod from the armor now supports itself. And when this happens some characters tend to look "naked" but still have all their gears on. Pretty funny cuz then there are javazons throwing invisible javelins lol. But be warned, if you abuse this bug then you might not be able to retrieve all your items from your dead body after being pk'd. And finally, your base strength depends on the gear you use.
Thanks to the geniuses at Blizzard, every class can teleport with Enigma. Have fun maintaining charge lock.
I would set aside two gears, 1 for melee and 1 for casters. Adding all your gear and then Herald for casters is not enough. Casters are going to blow you away if Herald is your only elemental defense. Herald is really only good for AR, use Exile or Pheonix if you can afford them.
There are better helms than the Harlequin Crest, which is useful mainly for the AR, but if your level is high enough, combined with Frostburns they give a nice boost to your mana.
Frostburns are quite good gloves, 40% extra mana helps a lot for shift-charging, a crucial skill. I would rather have this than 40 life from Bloodfists.
Speed is very important, but you have no speed equipment outside of your boots. Get your speed up, I would say no less than 120%.
If you find your charge lock frequently gets you too close to charge (but I highly doubt you will), you may want a weapon with less range than a Berserker Axe.

Yes charge lock is annoying indeed so you might wanna exit as soon as you get it. BTW frostburns woule really be nice and they're cheap too. About hoz though, I think it's still the best considering the price and quality. A phoenix is good but it has low defense, an exile has high defense but it's way expensive and you don't need that much defense to do good in pvp.

Might also want to consider stormshield for the PDR% + resist.

I don't know how to reply to all the replys at once but I read them and thank you.
1) One thing I wanted to ask is, since everyone can teleport and it is hard to catch them, do people have good success with crusaders?
2) I have found that I can't really hit Barbs and I have 20k AR (planning for more). If they keep WWing then I can't get them at all or I will die. This is also cause I am missing the COA at the moment (PDR). I have everything else.
3) I could use general hints and tips for PVP play.
4) Once you max charge and fanatacism, what skills do you use and how many points (Holy shield, Vigor, Might, Blessed Aim - anyone use blessed aim for passive bonus?).

1) Teleport might be annoying but there is this thing called desyning with charge. It's when you charge with a high level vigor aura on then your speed is so freaking fast you cause the game itself to lag and your opponent to lose track of you location while you still know where the hell he is unless he is doing the same thing. Then quickly switch back to fanaticism and close in for the nasty suprise!
2) Sorry but pure chargers are hardly any match for a good ww barb since they also have huge defense and AR and life. So really, you'd have to make a hybrid like charge/smite to beat a barb like that. Perfect DR still can't save you.
3) No blessed aim needed, its passive bonus is rather insignificant and you won't have any skill points leftover unless you just use Might as your damage aura and ignore fanaticism. Otherwise you'd max: charge, fanaticism, vigor, might and holy shield. IMO you can max holy shield last if you want but considering that you probably don't have a very high defense I would max vigor, holy shield, and might after the first 2.
