I was reading a guide from the moldy tomes (actually read all the PvM) and was looking at the potential for thorns aura and minions. I got to thinking about the runeword FAITH. My thoughts and questions are as follows.
1. Does the summon resist effect the reanimated returned?
2. Does the thorns aura's enhance the returned?
3. If I equip my merc with edge and bramble will that effect the returned.
4. Will the fanatacism aura effect the returned?
When I read the guide one thing I noticed was that with the necro using edge his AR was so low he couldn't hit anything. My thought was a high level amp and revive and skelly mastery and summon resist. The ITD on Faith eliminates the problem with AR for most monsters. Being ranged eliminates the need for the most part a big bone armor and allows for more summoning skills. Having a high level amp and CE makes for incredible back up to a basic attack that requires no mana and can damage. The + skills and fanaticism makes for stronger revives, golem and curses. The thorns gives a great damage boost especially if it effects the returned. The 10% return wouldn't hurt the ammount of corpses enough to be a deterant to CE. I was considering Wisp Projector for one ring to add spirit of barbs. CTA on a weapon switch for revives and skellies for the battle orders would make them incredible. With minimal +skills I could have 5 skellies, a clay golem with an insane amount of life, and all the revives I could want. I was curious if anyone can answer this for me as it seems like a viable build and leaves skill points to spare. This would allow for a better bone wall aka distraction better bone armor and maxing CE for the radius so when minions actually engaged they are already damaged. Not to mention with the ITD and boost to AR I'd be doing some damage myself.
