hi all

about this bow needs alot of dex even after i socket with hel(forget nef and um). should i put points in dex?

With dual 20 dex ravens + arreats + anni + torch I dont think it should be a problem.

But since Widowmaker is mostly used against Hammerdins, which DO have over 7594 defense, you want to have 117 dex with dual angelics, which is:
117-(10-20)-(10-20)-20-10=67-47, depending of the stats on your torch/anni. personally, mine are 20 stats and 18 stats, so I have 49 base dex, which also allows me to wear Carrion Nails+Arreat+Highlord+Fcr rings versus ES FB'ers or ES Lightning sorceresses. Carrion Nails are EUNL duped boots which give 30% frw/+12 dex/+8life/+34%CR/+34%FR/+49%LR.

Ok, personally I've never had any problems hitting a hammerdin with dual ravens + enchant and an inventory of 20life/30+ ar scs.

But I guess putting some points in dex offers some versatility gear wise.

Yea well, as Romper Stomper pointed out in one of his late posts, to hit a character with more than 7594 defense, dual angelics>hl+dual ravens. And I tell you, he uses like, 33x 32020's.

Of course dual angelics > hl + ravens, but its not a necessity to have that much ar in order to hit the paladin. (High def. smiters aside)

And as I stated in my earlier post; I use 20 lifers with 30+ ar (since 32020's arent available in ladder), meaning I will have more ar then a barb using 32020's.

Anyhow, pointless discussion... put a few points in dex if you feel like it.
