dream merc glitch???

i've heard of it and seen people who have it how does it work can you please tell me?

If you keep equipping and unequipping an act 3 merc with a runeword like dream (holy shock) or dragon (holy fire), the auras shall keep activating ontop of one another, resulting in alot of holy fire/holy shock auras on the same merc.

Note that if you wish to abuse this bug, it's not too difficult to counter. Although having alot of auras on the merc results in alot of damage, individually it's still counted as small damage.

To put it another way, even though you might be doing 10k lightning pulse damage, it's not a single damage, but rather it's 100 pulses of 100 lightning damage. This means that if you were to get to the point where you can effectively negate 100 lightning damage, then you'll negate the entire 10k lightning damage.

I believe there has to be two items granting the same aura for it to work. Aura Level doesn't apparently matter (why you can combine hoj/dragon). If you only have one dream and unequip and reequip it it doesn't seem to work.

Since it is not a hack,and since it interests both those that want to (ab)use it and negate it,I don't see why is it bad to ask.
