ok, so i kinda jsut started again, and this is my first time buildin barbs (when i used to play i played only nec); but that is besides the point. The question is this: which weapon is easier for a poor person to work towards, and is worth using. Would a grief pb damage exceed that of a botd cb (used 2 handed)? and which is cheeper? I can only find prices for grief, but because it is so widely made now and doesnt require zod it seems like grief is more avalable and maybe cheeper. i playin pvm btw. Help.

grief because its much faster and does more dmg you only need a total of 45 ias for the fastest breakpoint. Grief pb+ 40/15 ias jewel

And grief is an obscene pvp weapon, for some reason, its +xxx damage mod is not nerfed normally by pvp penalty like it should. Still some pvp penalty though.

Please, don't spread false rumours around.

i playin pvm btw. HelpI'd use BotD in this case, but in a berserker axe instead of a colossus blade. The dual leech on BotD frees up your ring slots for something else. You won't need Grief's insane damage in PvM.

I'm just guessing, I never said it was definitely nerfed or unnerfed. Dude you do know that grief allows for some 1 hit kills but at the same time they might dish some normal damage through your experiences.

How Grief's +xxx damage works has been well established since day one. For attacks that involve swinging the weapon it acts like a simultaneous +xxx min damage and +xxx max damage, and for smite it acts like +xxx shield damage. Only part that might be confusing is that the +xxx damage never shows up on the character screen for any attack.

Grief damage suffers the same penalty in pvp like every other weapon...To the question now,I would use grief phase blade and dracul's gloves. No need for life leech from the rest of the gear whatsoever. That damn thing not only has superb damage,it is itd as well...

Yeah I never made sure of this. But anyways grief is superior.

you did state it as fact when in fact it was nothing more than a guess. Leave advice on such matters to those that know instead of making up stuff about things you have no clue about.

Ebotd.

Cb > BA IMO. For conc barb.

Just cuz it looks "cooler" and you can go 2h for more dmg when you dont need a shield.

No. Berserker axe has much easier to reach breakpoints with conc, lower stat requirements, and more damage. Appearance is subjective ;)
