Yep thats what I got lol.

I had literally only raised 3 skellies and some amazon and paladin were giving it "DONT CREATE MONSTERS! IT CAUSES LAG"

yeah they say that, but then after they all die from the monsters and your skelle's are still dishing out the death, they will be your best friend

Yeh I never experience any lag either and thats with all my skellies and revives running about.

How they can say i'll regret choosing a necro I dont know cos its the best thing I've done and is by far my best char.

Lag is my friend...he goes every where I go...like a faithful companion that will not leave your side...like the true friend that he is. To those that are unlucky enough to have those dialup ISP's when in a game with me and lag...leave now or my friend lag will make you leave for me.

Don't hate the necro player that can afford to have the high-speed ISP...hate the game.Or better yet...hate your parents for not getting you the high-speed ISP you think your deserve...or your job that doesn't give you that big christmas bonus you think you deserve...because you use it to pay for your ISP and last year's bonus only allowed you to get the walmart dialup ISP.

They all cry during baalruns...and always blame the necro for everything...just laugh it off and summon all your summons...just to show them what real lag is.

Yep...his entire bonus would go to him having high-speed for a year...or to take care for most of the year. He was getting mad because I would always lag him out of baal runs on purpose...and he was a wal-mart dialup user at that time. After I told him that if he had either dsl or cable instead...that chances of me lagging him out of games would be that much harder to do.

So what's the first character he makes after getting his cable ISP...a summoner of course. He laughs now because he's able to do to others that I've done to him for over a year...and takes pride in the fact.

A few days ago...was doing baal runs with my bud...and I wouldn't summon anything while he would go crazy...some pally goes "wtf is up with all this damned lag?" My bud tells him "blame me...blame me...I am the cause for all this lag"

Pally then begs him to unsummon because he's on dialup...and doesn't want to lag out.As my bud is answering him...pally says "damn them popups" and is lagged out.

Guess I helped create a lag-monster in my bud.

Computers with a really bad processor, and video card will experience really bad lag by a lot of skellies. This lag has really nothing to do with your internet speed. All p.c specs.

My grandparents p.c is like 500mhz (which is horrid) and she has like a T1 connection(sexy), and I cant even play diablo at their house its so bad. Meanwhile at my house I have a really bad internet connection, but my p.c is AMD Athlon 4000+ with a Nvidia GeForce 6800gt, I can run diablo flawlessly with over 100 skellies on my screen with no lag.

In any case, I would choose a good p.c, and bad-medium internet speed over a good internet connection and a crap-medium p.c any day.

ditto on the other parts but how do you kill baal? or perhaps...how fast is fast (if you mean like under a min than im interested :laugh:)?

(my blizz takes down baal in like 20-30 secs...but getting there can be quite hazardous, hammerdin about the same...summoner..easy/safe to get there....but takes like 3min to kill baal...)

also i dont like tkey runs as much...first you have to find the forgotten tower...than go through 5 lvls...etc...summoner is fast..and nihk is faster yet :thumbsup:


ps ironic that the summoner (arcane) is less of a summoner than someone like nihk (whos actually summons enslaved and CEs :laugh: )

ya i don't understand it either. i was doing chaos runs last night with 14 skellies raised up, a hammerdin, a sorc and lf javazon, the game did not lag once.

Just ignore people that tell you skellies lag them, or the game. Most people that complain are doing so because the skellies are lagging their p.c, not the game you're in. So just tell them to stfu and get a new p.c that didnt come from value village in the mid 80's.

easily under a minute- i've never really timed it but i'd say 20 seconds tops..

my merc does something like 10k max damage along with 40% crushing blow & i do about 2k dmg with the beast. add 13 skellies, 12 mages, and something like 18 revives and he's dead in no time.

just amp him, tele on top, and start whacking away

would be great to have a nice act 2 merc :thumbsup: (if i can only find a pride :laugh: +beast)

the beast is great. i'll tele right on top of baal/meph and start whackin away on him since it has a 20% crushing blow and 25% open wounds. the only things that have killed my merc so far is IM (obviously) and those bugged snakes near nihlathak. i can't even remember the last time i died.

yah...thos tomb vipers are the only thing that can take down my skeles from 15----->10 in like 5 secs....not sure where the massive dmg is coming from....(bugged psn/phy dmg i hear...like the gloams...but gloams don't even take down the skeles like that...:undecided: )

since i have an act 3 merc chaos is still a breeze =P...but baal on the other hand takes forever (yah im impatient =D)

Using an act 3 merc on a summoner is a mistake in my opinion. Get an Act 2 Might Merc. Your skellies that are currently doing ~200 damage, will be doing ~400 damage when the monster is amped. Add a high level Might aura on top of that and all of a suddon your skelletons are doing MUCH more damage.

Even without a Pride r/w stick you will notice baal going down much quicker. Summoner necro's get there power from the Might Aura.

A level 70 Might Aura merc will be giving your skellies a level 20 Might Aura. I'm not sure if the Might Aura applies before or after Amp Damage, or if Amp Damage is calculated before or after the Might Aura. Worst Case your skellies would be doing 660 damage instead of 400, wich is quite an improvment imho.
