Fire druids are hard, my suggestion is max all fire skills first, then work on oak sage. Teleport, volcano to pick at 'em from a distance, fissure when they're running or walking, and attempt some drive by geddons. Throw in molten boulder just to dick with 'em from time to time.
I believe there was a Shaman guide somewhere, try doing a search for it - that's a fire druid build, and so might help you. It also incorporates some doggies, if I'm not mistaken.
Use the search tool. Shaman uses maxed bear. Very usefull for caster duels, etc. Terrible if Holy freeze is being used or against cold sorcy's like orbers, etc. Pure fire druids are an additional option with geddon being maxed instead of just 1 point, etc. and fire skills and geddon doing more damage. Fire druids are great and fun yet hard to build a good one on a budget. There are a few non posted guides on peoples thoughts on these builds floating in this forum. Start looking in the threads.
I have both a shaman and a pure fire druid and they are both fun to play. Just do not expect to "ownz" everyone as some people may say with these builds. They can pretty much be absorbed on the fire end, etc. + blocked, etc.
Have fun with the build
