I'm sorry if this has been asked before and since I couldn't find what I wanted with the search function, here it goes. How much does run/walk speed affect your performance with whirlwind? Is the slower the better , or is it better to ww faster. In other words.. would it be better not to get the skill that increases your running speed in pvp (bvb or bvc)?
Thanks in advance.

I'm not a pvp expert, i'll try to answer according to what I know on WW...

If you pvp, maybe you'll want to teleport. Thus, FWR isn't so important.

The thing is : the faster you walk, the faster you'll get out of range. The slower you walk, the longer you'll stay in the hit-zone, and the more hits you'll deliver in one WW.

If you don't teleport, maybe you'll want to reach your target fast however, and increase your FWR.

I know that for pvm i never put points in increase speed.

perfect answer Dadou.

Its better to sink somepoint in frw for pvp for desynch-whirls & generally avoiding shots.Mostly its tele-whirl so frw has marginal effect in no. of hits.

In Pvm better place more in ironskin, slow whilrs in packs meens targets are in range for a longer time, therefore more hits.

Check-out my ww guide in the sticky for more details on ww.

Thanks alot for replying. I decided not to put any points into the stamina and run skill and instead max my iron skin. :wink3:
