Keyboard or Mouse wheel?

When I got my new machine last year, i invested in the greatest tool for playing Diablo. Wireless Laser mouse.
Now I may be late to the party with this but, after hotkeying all my skills the the buttons on the keyboard 2 simple remapped keys made all the difference in the world. They were :next skill=mouse wheel up previous skill=mouse wheel down.
I went from stabbing at keys to switch from amp to ce or decrep to cg to a smooth transition of spamming amp all over the screen, one quick index finger move upward and let the body poppin begin!
If you've never played diablo with skills mapped to the wheel, give it a try, i'm betting the game gets easier for you too.
This gets even better for the skill intensive character builds, lots of skill switching makes the mouse wheel shine

For my summon nec, I use the keyboard to navigate the buttload of hotkeys while I summon my creatures. Once I get them all up, I switch the scroll wheel to cast BO on them. Then I keep using the scroll wheel since all I'm doing from then on is tele and cast CE.

yeah, the scroll is awesome. i'm usally late with new hardware changes, just got the back and forward button on my new 5 button mouse! omg i cant live without it now. the scroll is hard to move, but i like it that way because with my previous mouse i'd go from amp, to rs and back to some skill i didn't need.

my mappings are:
F1: LR
F2: PSN nova
F3: decrip
F4: amp
F5: RS
F6: gumby
F7: armor
F8: CE

i scroll F6, F7, then head to pindle, switch to F5, raise, then toggle between F1, F2, and F4, F3 for bosses.
