Hey
first off, im sorry if im bringing this subject up again for the 29112751 time but i couldnt find anything and ppl in diablo usually dont say anything when u ask 'em.

So here to the question:
I got this WW barb with a Oath - eth balrog blade in mainhand... so, stick with oath as 2h? or do i want another sword in offhand, and this sword, do i want high dmg as in mainhand or just good mods? i mean, Lightsabre, mana leach, some elemental dmg, and ignore targets defence... would it be good? or does WW benefit from offhandweapon dmg also or just mainhand?
Bloodletter with 3 to WW skill and 4 to sword mastery? if dmg on offhand weapon doesnt matter than these 2 might be good eh?
or am i completly lost here?

aw well plz help
(just to confirm... Oath in balrogblade does reach last breakpoint as 1h right? oath gives +50 ias and balrogblade is speed=0 so it does right?)

use the oath 2h. considering your dual wield options

if you have the HRs, why not get ebotd?

Why would you go for oaths when you can afford HRs?

maybe learn to read? he CANNOT AFFORD HIGH RUNES.

if you can, get another oath - then you are basically hitting twice as fast and so for twice as much damage and twice as many mods such as crushing an ow.

Same goes for the West ladder.

If you have a few Mals, Ums, you can probably afford an eBOTDZ.

Easy there killers! keep in mind that a low rolled oath, especially if not ethereal can usually go for pul-um, and thats on the high side. Sometimes people don't like to waste time trading, so if they have items that are worth pul/um say stormshield for instance, and someone needs the stormshield, they may trade a non-eth decent roll oath, or a bad roll eth oath for it. I think this may be what he means by he "can get another oath". Then again, he could end up trading both oaths for a low grief and start over if he traded long enough. just my two bits.

That is, on east ladder Mal=Ber=Lo=Zod etc. ? Didn't know that..

Mal can fetch you hr plus if you play your cards right.
I needed a +3 4socket matron bow and they go for 2 hrs or mal.

This makes me think that hrs have lower trade value than in escl. Here a hr goes for 4-4.5 Ist, while Ist is Mal+Mal. That is why I didn't get right the posts in the first place. ty for the info. :P

@remsy: Faith on the way ? :)

exactly... Mal on EU server (ladder) isnt high... All from Vex ->Zod would i see as HRs... Mal+Mal=Ist and the HRs is 3-4Ists so that would be 6-8 Mals for a HR...

But i dont think i got any good answer on my question.. Does WW deal more dmg if i got a high dmg wep in offhand also? Cuz someone said to me that its only the dmg in mainhand that counts... is it true?

if u have 2 weapons then ur damage comes from both hands
if u have 1 weapon then it comes from 2 handed

Both hands will do their own damage when they hit. So it seems a good idea to use another oath if you can. But then the oath does lower damage (see description: 1h dmg and 2h dmg) the fact that makes most players choose 2 weapons is that they will each have a chance to hit monsters, so in the end you will do more damage.

You will have to decide wether some more damage right now is what you want (or improve other equipment)

if you already have a gf then its a decent weapon with all the bonuses even if not fastest around. stick a shael or ias jewel in it.
not sure what they cost but i dont think oath will be too much more if at all so its still top choice.
