Gday All, new to Diablo and te forums, just want some input on my character. Right now only level 14 but I have some plans I would like some help with. By level 30 I plan to look like this:

Fire bolt:1
Warmth:1
Fire Ball:20
Enchant:1
Meteor:1
Fire mastery:1
Hydra:1
Telekenesis:1
Teleport:1
Frozen armout:1
Shiver Armour:1
Chilling Armour:1

I already have a Salamanders battle staff (+2 to fire skills, plus 2 to fireball, plus 3 to warth, plus 1 to firewall)
got this given to me :cloud9: :cloud9: :cloud9:

Okay, that's at level 30, can you recomend any changes I should make, what I shoukd put my skillpoints into after that, and what i should aim for with stat points ?

Also, I'v been told this build will be good at PK, and mediocre at everything else. Can you guys possibly outline what it will/wont be able to do ?

I'f your still reading then thanks :P
I look forwed to posting a bit more, next time i'll check my speling, but i'm to tired now ...

Erm, one other thing. For example, to get shiver armour do you have to have ice blast and frozen armour, or only one ? And is this the same for all skills that have two skills leading into them on the chart ? (I thought you only had to have one)

I think Shiver armor is best so no need for point in chollin armour, after lvl 30 you should max fireball, meter and fire mastery, after you add to fire blot. Assuming this is a pure fire sorc.

Firebaal sorcs are great at pvp if they reach the last fcr break point, look at the pvp forum for fire sorc advantages and disadvantages.

G'day. Although it strikes me that Teotwauki sounds rather Kiwi-ish for an Ozzie.

Are you planning on going pure fire? If so, then the path is rather straight forward. Max firebolt, fireball, meteor and fire mastery. If you get your sorc to the high (clvl) 80's, you can even max out frozen orb and put 1 point into cold mastery. This is known as the Meteorb, of which there is an excellent guide in the stickies. Remember that you will have to deal with immunes in Hell, and there are lots of fire immunes in Hell.

If you plan on a more balanced mix between the two trees, then there are several guides in the stickies. My personal favourite is the Blizzballer. Max out fireball and meteor, blizzard and either iceblast or glacial spike, with 17 in CM. Your fireball becomes weaker, but you compensate with a powerful blizzard.

However, if you want to PvP, then go with a single tree and stick with it. If you plan on PvM, then dual tree is best (imo) for versatility.

You need ice bolt, ice blast and frozen armour before you can get to shiver armour. If you dual tree, it will be easy to get shiver armour. If you fire only, then it will be 4 points spent to get it. It depends on your playing style and if you intend to PvP. I play PvM, and I do not use any of the armours, as my dual tree sorc has enough life, max block and a strong merc to take the beating while I spam spells.
