wondering frenzy weapon PVM

i've read few threads about frenzy weapon recommendations, my frenzy barb will be mostly chopping monsters with friends, also baal runnin and im gonna replace my old smiter in Uber killing. i got gear already planned:
Arreat (Um'd), Draculs/LoH, SoE/dungos, hi lord, 2x raven,fortitude ap, gores+ torch n anni.

Weapons are gonna be BeastZ n Lwz( got one atm) or eDeathZ / ettin, seems like i would get higher dmg with edeath than Lw, but lw got ctc life tap etc, so it would help keeping in battle against nasty monsters. also fade would keep my res high in uber trist.

what do u guys think?, i know frenzy is mentioned alot of topics now but couldnt still get straight answer. thanks for any ideas if u got.:smiley:

I'd stick with the LW. More crushing blow, still lacking in ias, but it gives Might, which will stack nicely onto your fanat and strength. And, as you mentioned, Fade is a godsend in Tristram. Yes, with that one weapon you'd probably end up with higher damage with edeath - but for the mods, I'd stick with Lw if you've already got one.

Good luck keeping those zerkers repaired, though. >.<

maybe keeping my horkin gear in stash or storing orts will solve that repairin problem. thanks for opinion=)

If your Barb is for general PvM (ie. questing and killing monsters), nothing beats dual Stormlashes. Static Field and crushing blow tears stuff apart fast.

For general pvm I agree with Evrae, static is very effective (but if you ever used Schaefer's or Crescent Moon you already know that ;) ), and considering the fact that you have 15% cb on Gore anyway, your total cb on hit is nice (33+15).
If you want to reach max Frenzy speed with 2*Stromlash I think you need to Shael the primary and get a 35 additional ias.

If you already have got Last Wish, use it, for Tristram it is very effective. I use your same weap setup, and it works fine.
As for rep costs, definitely stockpile Ort, and pick/sell any excep/elite armor you find. You'll find, though, that your weapons will wear faster in general pvm than in Tristram running. (and repairing lw costs far more than repairing beast).

Recently I tried using Dracul's/Verdungo, and I must say I am not satisfied.
Before I used IK belt/gloves and now I can say I preferred that setup: cheap but +45 str/+20 dex/+31% light and +28% fire res/+25 ias/+ar. I find that especially Light res is nice, +dex increases your AR nicely.
