critique my BvC

im new to the BvC build and was wondering if some 1 would help me critique my barb:
this is what i am currently using on my BvC
weps: beastz and ebotdz 402 ed
helm: umd arreats 164 ed (low)
armor: bp nigma
boots: res boots w/ frw and fhr
belt: arach
gloves: dracs
rings: for cold dealing chars 2x rfrosts--for fire dealing 2x dstars--light dealing 2x wisps and for melee/hammerdins angelic set up
ammy: angelic or 3 wc ammy
charms: 2 bcombs 1 wc gc 1 masteries gc and pdlcs and scs anni and torch
skills: maxed ww, maxed axe mast,pts to leap to get 16-18 radius,and put rest of pts to resists and prerequisites and iron skin speed etc
stats: all vita no str no dex and some pts to energy to get a decent amout of energy for leap ww tele

plz make any suggestions or gear options ty :grin:

if you can get a grief its better than ebotz

res you will need only against sorc/assasin/poison necro
imo best option to make up for res is use 10 fcr rings with res+mgrid
only sorb you need is ravens/wisp or tgod (in some cases much more, but i dont know much about that), You really dont need fire sorb
ARREAT: - imo better option is shael instead of um
BOOTS: use gores as main boots , and switch to your rare boots when dueling a sorc or trapper
BELT :you will need dungo /and ow crafted belt/ or rare belt with fhr +str+life+res
AMULET: angelic/highlord wrath
CHARMS: max/ar/life sc if can't find then go for lc or gc, but dont use wc/combat/masteries gc's

the points in energy are a waste imo , youll get enogh mana from gear and then full belt of mana pots will last you for more than one duel

No, No No!!! 2x Rfrosts as a default, 2x fcr rings against casters, angelics versus melee/hammerdins/people with more thaqn 7594 def. Wisps and Dstars are not needed if you know how to play ffs.

ammy: angelic or 3 wc ammy

Switch into a Highlord's Wrath, 3x% DS rocks!

charms: 2 bcombs 1 wc gc 1 masteries gc and pdlcs and scs anni and torch

DITCH THEM ALL!!!! BCombats give only small dmg and huge mana costs, Wc sks give life, but take space from more life, masteries sks don't give anything good. Pdscs/lcs are easily negated. Get 33x 20 life scs or 17-19 life scs. 4x 5 fhr scs. Optimal would be max/ar/life scs.

skills: maxed ww, maxed axe mast,pts to leap to get 16-18 radius,and put rest of pts to resists and prerequisites and iron skin speed etc

NONONONONONO!!!!! Max Bo. put enough points for leap to reach lvl 19-22 with ONLY torch+anni+battle combat. 3-5 points into nat resists, 5 into increased speed. Rest into shout.

NONONONO!!!!! Do NOT put any points into energy!!! Use mana pots and fcr rings with 50+ mana. Also, If you want to switch any gear at all (Widowmaker, Fortitude, Coa BerBer), you want to have points into str/dex.

Now, here is what I think a BvC should look like:

Beast Ba 35+/xxx/Doom ba xxx

Resist boots

2x Raven frosts

Max Bo

Also, in stash you should should have:
TGod's
str ow belt
Duress/Fortitude
Widowmaker 'Hel'
Arreat's 40/15 (ed/ias)
Kiras 'Ort'
Wand of Lifetap
2x rings with 10 fcr and >50 mana.
angelic amulet and 2x angelic rings
Demonlimb
Treachery
Hotspurs
6 empty spaces at least (to have enough space to swap dooms for widowmaker)

But i'm afraid that most of this stash gear is not available for you, since you CANNOT wear coa berber+fortitude+grief/beast with Pure Vita. I Suggest that you re-make as soon as possible, or try to see if you can win hammerdins easily with pure vita and then come back, ok?

Coa 'BerBer' is used versus melee and elemental druid (windies deal physical dmg). If you cannot get one of those, get a 20% Gaze and Ber it.

You can use 20 life scs instead. But max/ar/life scs/lcs/gcs are the optimal choice. My BvC uses 15x 20's 18x 18-19 life scs, 4x 5 fhr scs.

As for the widowmaker, it's useless if you cannot use Fortitude or Duress as your armor and angelic rings/amulet as your jewelery.

yeah coa will be needed for most fights in order for u to reach max dr which is 50% hence why it is needed to be BerBer, i.e vs a smiter ,zealer, Windy Druid and bow ama and anything that does high pysical dmg this is needed.

Also the charms Ce Olba recommends are the best, never use skillers as this pretty much is a waste of space and potential life loss.

If u cannot afford ma dmg/ar/life sc aim to get ar/life sc, plain life scs or charms with maxdmg/ar, u may need a few hit recovery charms in stash to hit the 48% break point for hit recovery, although for ur helm u could socket it with a shael as this eliminates the need for hit recovery charms in stash.

You can use Widow with ravens + high lords amu but for dmg and high use of ow u will need an armour like fortitude, for pure dmg or Durress for the high ow, or if u can stick a crafted ow belt on or something for high % of OW.

I have always been against that shael'ed arreats, mainly because it limits your fhr with different setups, since using coa would leave you with only 30fhr. So I suggest always having 18-20 fhr from charms.

I guess I aren't the only bvc that has fhr problems, when I use Kiras (gieb 8 fhr more k thx) :laugh:

Same here, but I happily, and rarely, use Kiras. I haven't found it necessary after I got that 120/83 armor and resist boots.

Why angy's with widowmaker? I am also finishing my BVC on ladder and I always thought Guided arrow always hits so AR is not important. Is it just for the weapon switch back to Grief/beast for the WW?

yeah mine are waay too weak -10fhr, 29/25/25 cold/light/fire res no other useful mods

i dont think he really suggested that . i asked about the stats so i can copare the rares i found on ladder and if they are worth keepin ,that is all
