Help with sorc merc

I need a good merc setup for a non-lighting sorc, any suggestions, for example my blizzard sorc is unable to kill countess since she is cold immune so he has to be able to kill elite monters.

In a 1-player game, my merc, wearing Tals mask, Duriel's Shell, and Insight CV can take down the Countess and all her minions without much trouble. I play a Blizzard sorc also, and to prevent your merc from getting swamped, tele beside the doorway.

When you do this, only 1-2 monsters can walk through the door at a time, and it makes the job easier. Just static and watch your merc poke them to death.

If there's trouble (such as your merc's life going low), tele back a bit, let the monsters come through the doorway into the room that you are in, THEN tele to the OTHER side of the door, in the room that the Countess was previously in.

May point here is: kill all the non-cold immune monsters first, then tele to pick the monsters off one-by-one. Watch out for monsters swarming you/ your merc.
