Just wanted to know if magic finding i somehow affected with character level.. I mean will i get more good drops with higher level sorc? I'm curently level 85 and i have mf about 500% but i'm not getting any good drops.... :cry: If zaka is item level 90 (i think:grin: ) will I be able to mf one if my sorcy level is lower than item level (here lower than 90)?

Character level has no influence on what items a monster may drop.

My friend has 290% MF and for some reason, he finds stuff like he's in a candy shop.

He says it is not supposed to go anything above that, so I would probably cut down.. or just do alot of hardcore andy/meph runs.

There is no magic number for MF. You can't have too much MF. Here's a general rule: cram as much MF on as you possibly can withouth slowing down your killing speed or hindering your survival.
