Hey ya all...
I'm curently making a melee druid.
Mainly for pit-runs.
And so - I was wondering, what should I chose as a primary killing skill?
Feral Rage or Fury? I supse Fury is better in along run and more flexible, but
high life steel from Feral Rage would gratly increase survivability in The Pit.
Or I should forget physical dmg and go with poison? Poison amazon if very
effective in The Pit as there are no poison immunes, maybe the druid would
be just as effective?...
What do you think? Fury or Rage?
If you want to play druid, keep this in mind.
Feral rage is a 'charge up' skill.
This means when you use it, you will get a small ball swirling around you. More attacks with it will increase the ball (charge up..). When the ball is active, you will benefit from the lifesteal and faster run/walk that it grants.
This means, 1pt in fereal rage (which you need to reach fury), and then the rest in fury. Then you can charge up, and use fury for 20 seconds, then charge rage again, then back to fury. More effective...
Afaik there aren't any phys immuners in pit. Why not max both?

Hello again everyone
The desicion has been made - Fury it is.
If there will be any problem with life steel, there's allways dracs.
I got another desicion to make.
Maybe you can help me with this one???
Fury 20
Warewolf 20
Lycontropy 20
Oak Siege 20
That's 80 points. 82 with prereqs. Man, I love shapeshifters skill distribution:grin:
So, I have quite a few skills left. I haven's played many druids, but those that
I have played, used Cyclon Shield (or whatever it's called). Now, on the other
hand, I think that Cyclon Shiel isn't worth maxing for PvM druid, especialy for
Pit-runner.
Here is the desicion to be made: I'm thinking of another summon. What should
it be??? Dire Wolfs, a Bear, or one of those adorible worms that will
eat corpses to regenarete me mana or life???
Advice please!

bear is a nice option for your spare points
p.s. just to clear some things up:
Warewolf 20 (werewolf)
Lycontropy 20 (lycantrophy)
Oak Siege 20(oak sage)
:cloud9: :wink3:

Ok...
I got an advice to put spare points into bear.
Well, would be a good choice I guess...
But I'm very curious about Carrion Vine...
What does "heals 10%" means?
Does it gives me 10% of life of the monster whos corpse it has eaten?
Or it heals 10% of my life for every corpse it eats?
If it's the second variatn, are these 10% of my base life or of my total life?
Inforamtion, please!

If you have any decent amount of +skills, one point into it can't hurt. No matter how many points you pour into it, it'll die fast if it's targeted in Hell, but that % is a % of YOUR total life. So if you have 5k life, every time it eats a corpse, you gain 500.
However, it's rare that this will matter, if you make use of Feral Rage. With a Jalal's and some other decent skill gear, you get upwards of 50% life leech with a full charge easily. And when we're talking damage in the thousands (I get 11k max with a ebotd great poleaxe and fortitude, same skill distribution), you're leeching more than enough, usually. The only time it'd really make a huge difference is against packs of undead you can't leech from.
