Where to go with Light Sorc?

I just hit level 80 with (what was planned to be) a purely light sorc. I've got 1 point in everything on the light skill tree except energy shield, with maxed mastery, lightning, chain lightning, and charged bolt.

I'm wondering where I should go from here...cold? fire? I want something to take out lightning immunes, but I only have a limited number of skill points. I have 3 right now, +2 from izzy, and then 19 up to level 99 (think more like 10-15 since 99 is a way away). What skill can be viable with these few skill points? I'm leaning towards cold just because I think it would be best to have slow guys coming at me. Should be about 8-10 +skills, maybe more.

Any ideas?

I have a lvl 94 Light / ES sorc. I wouldn't bother trying to get skills outside of the lightning tree. My suggestion would be to get a merc. I don't know what kind of funds you have, but an Act2 merc with a decent weapon / armor and some leech is very useful. Then the only problem you need to worry about is a boss that is light and physical immune. I'm lucky enough to have my Eth Cryptic Infinity from Ladder Season 2 on mine, so there aren't a lot of light immunes. When I do run across one that their immunity doesnt break, then the merc can take them out. My act 2 Holy Freeze merc uses Eth CA Infinity, Andy Helm(leech), and Tal's armor (want to upgrade to an Eth Fort someday). This guy will only die in PvP games or from IM. So in summation, get a merc, don't waste pts in another skill tree.

I would just continue with pure light since at level 80, you won't have many points left, which means a barely-decent secondary attack. Either rely on your merc to kill immunes, or save up for an Infinity.

So, where should I put the extra points? Thunderstorm? Energy shield? maybe static to see how long of a range i can get?

my god, I completely forgot about nova as a synergy. Here I thought I had it compeltely synergized...wondering why I had so many skill points left. thanks for the reminder.
