I figured you guys would be more open to answering my question than the paladin forum. Not that they are a bad lot, but they probably already answered this question and might get mad at answering it again. Though you guys might as well. :hide: I did a little searching with the search utility and didn't find anything about it. The Arreat Summit was last updated March 3 for Blessed Hammer.

Anyway I was just about to re-enter Diablo 2 again and went to the Arreat Summit to see what was updated there. I found something weird. Here is the exact quote as it is now for Blessed Hammer:
Ignores the resistances and immunities of Undead

It shows no mention of the Demons resitance. Now I know that Arreat Summit isn't the exact place to go for correct information, but if I'm going to be playing a hammerdin again I would like to know that demons resistance is still going to be ignored by the hammers like undead. Guess I could look at the skill in game, but I don't have time for that right now.
This is probably nothing more than a typo by nebu, it isn't like it hasn't happened before. Anyway thanks in advanced.

Blessed hammer kills everything except the big apes (wailing beasts?) in the temples in hell, act 3. Even nasties that say they're immune to magic, everything. Like blizzard and some other spells, vastly overpowered, hence the term "cheesydin".

Yes; a monster must be an animal (not demon or undead) and immune to magic in order to be immune to Blessed Hammer. This, like the above poster said, only occurs in the Act 3/Quest 4-related tombs located in the Kurast Bazaar, Upper Kurast, and the Kurast Causeway, where the Wailing Beast spawns this way (only in Hell difficulty).
