Hi all

I have an idea which could not be new but it is interesting from my point of view. My three attempts of creating a succesfull werewolf druid failed because of wrong/bad/awfull weapon.
And now I think I found sth suitable. Obiedence Threasher. Will it works ??
Rest of my setup
Helm - Jalal’s Mane (socketed with 37 %ed jevel or IAS jevel)
Armor – Shaftstop or Duress (cant decide)
Gloves – Draculs
Belt – Verdungos
Boots – Gores
Weapon – Obiedence Threasher
Rings – Dual Ravens
Amulet – Highlord
Druid Torch 15/18
Skills setup will tend to pure physical damage Fury wolf with Gimmershread with Tiamat on switch and Reapers Toll Merc for physical immunes
So
20 Fury
20 Lycanthropy
20 Feral Rage (not sure)
20 Heart of the Wolverine
20 Werewolf (maxed last)
I will be pure PvM by the way.

Please say what do you think.

Your gear looks really fine, I'd pick Shaftstop over Duress since the lack of DR of not wearing Stormshield, but one thing about obedience thresher is that...it's too slow for my liking...

In the realm of melee chars I live in, I prefer speed over damage in pvm and pvp cases...maybe try another polearm...one with faster than 40%IAS
Doom thresher, ebotd gpa, tombreaver....etc

Its a nice weapon, but too slow IMO.

Could i speed it up with lets say

20 Werewolf
2 x 15 % IAS jevels in armor and helm
20 % Ias Highlord
20 % IAS Gloves (loose draculs) sigh

Weapon is a little slow, socketing other items won't help increase it's speed. You may be able to work it, but don't tank to much and use feral.

If and only IF you can afford it get a eth oath feral axe. Its not all that expive. But from the items you stated it seams your having trouble with getting better items. You will see alot better damage and speeds from that.

Also I am thinking your only doing player vs monster with this werewolf right now so I say use the resist armor over the shaftstop. Hey keep bolth around on that guy to be honest.

Also thresher only has range 2, so pvm is alright.
A holy freeze merc will slow down monsters and make your attack look faster....
