Imbuing question

i found a druid pelt with +3 to fireclaws and 3 sockets

if i imbue it, will it lost +3 modifier and sockets?

I assume that with imbuing you mean the Charsi quest.

1. AFAIK staffmods and automods get rerolled when the item gets imbued, just as with any process that changes an item's ilvl (e.g. 3 chipped recipe, fix cracked items recipe).

2. You can't imbue socketed items.

No soc. or magic items can be imbued, I believe...
