Levels for Gambling

Can anyone help me out by telling me what level(s) I need to be to gamble the following:

a) Amulet, +3 to a single skill tree.
b) Amulet, teleport charges.
c) Circlet, +3 to a single skill tree
d) Circlet, +2 to all skills
e) Circlet, teleport charges.

I think I read on the AS that you can't gamble +2 skills amulets. Is this true?

Check the prefix and suffix part of d2data (the link is in my sig) for the minimum item level. Your character's level must be higher by 5 to have a 100% chance that the item's ilvl will be high enough (90% if 4 levels higher, 80 if 3 levels higher etc. and 0% if 5 levels lower).

You can gamble +2 skills amulets. AS is wrong in many places, but it has an excellent item database (uniques, sets, runewords, base items etc.). It states the wrong level adjustments for gambling, for example. I provided the correct ones above.

Circlets, diadems etc. have a so-called magic level which, together with their base qlvl, can have a big influence on which affixes they can get. For example, no matter at which level you are gambling it (even at L1 if you could carry the gold for it), if a gambled item turns out to be a diadem:

base qlvl 85, magic level 18 --> use base qlvl if item level is below 85 --> add magic level --> result is 103 --> cap at 99 --> affix level is 99

so it can have any affix possible on circlets and the like.

For items with no magic level, it's entirely different, i.e. you can't just skip the "add magic level part for determining their affix level.

I will provide the levels where you are guaranteed an ilvl that is high enough. It is possible to get it up to 9 levels lower, but then there is only 10% chance that the ilvl will be high enough for that affix to even be in the pool of possibilities.

a) 65
b) 53
c) 62, but these prefixes always have a chance to spawn on a Coronet. They have a minimum alvl of 60. Earliest chance to see Coronets in the gambling window is at character level 48 (happens very rarely by then).
d) 92 (87 on Coronets)
e) 50 (can always spawn on a Coronet)

my lvl 88 zon just gambled a decent plus 2 pally ammy with nice mods..
