what level does my conviction have to be to be able to overpower uber mephisto's conviction?...

Uber Mephs conviction aura is level 20. I believe your aura would need to be level 21 or above.

i guess its better than to have a high conviction than to get salvation??Unless you're an Avenger or some other build that maxes out Conviction anyways, I wouldn't max Conviction just to negate Meph's aura. Good resists+Life Tap=his aura means squat.

Afaik by having a 21+ lvl of conviction cancells the effect of mephi's aura on you but the rest of the party members are still affected. Salvation is more party friendly.

That's correct. It will not prevent the conviction aura from affecting your party members.

salvation only helps with res and doesnt include defense probs + conviction = mephy now has low res (-50 fire n cold) if you have max -res on conviction.
