Does magic find that i have on translate to my lite traps? Meaning if they kill something will my mf count.
And secondly, after i've maxed all the synergies for my lite skills, what would be the best spot for my remaining points? shadow master?fade?bos? if its the shadow one i'm not quite sure how many hard points shgould be needed, thanks.

Yes, any MF that you have will apply to any kills your traps make.

Fact: All minions receive your magic find + theirs for calculating what items drop.
Fact: Traps count as minions.

Therefore, kills with traps recieve your magic find.

As for your other question...
How about fireblast for a nice second source of damage?
Or Dtalon for a hybrid?
Or Venom and use a bow for a different type of Hybrid?
Or Mindblast for longer stun plus a little damage?

In the end though, it is your character.
