Question 1: Is it possible for a weapon to spawn with the name "Soul Edge"? If so, what on what kinds of weapons is it available?

Question 2: What are the most and least common dual immunities on monsters? (assuming normally going through the game in Hell difficulty, NOT just running specific areas)

1. The "Soul Edge" rare name should be able to spawn on swords, daggers and axes.

2. That would be a difficult question to answer, because if a monster were to spawn with an enchanted mod (like lightning enchanted) then it could increase that resistance (eg, lightning resistance in the example) to a point of immunity.

I assume you're talking about uniques/superuniques with regards to this, because more often than not normal monsters only have a single immunity. Some normal monsters might have an immunity to poison and an element though.

1: Thanks. Now if only I could find a Soul Edge sword with awesome mods....

2: I'm referring to Unique/Superunique monsters. Its probably more of a "what do you find the most?" question, though a real statistical answer would be awesome.

Then I'll leave the quest up to someone else then

I will say though, that the immunity combo that you'll see the most will probably the those that are immune to your current character's two elements. The logic behind this is that you won't actually "notice" any other immunities, because they won't be a problem.

Haha, so true....

Though I suppose one could get a few characters to hell difficulty, each using a different pair of damage types. Then count the number of times one swears at the computer due to dual immunes

Has anyone ever seen a monster immune to both physical and magical? I'm pretty sure that I've never seen one, though immune to phys / magic resistant or immune to magic / stone skin are very possible.

Yes I have see those a few times. The only ability that boosts magic resistance is Mana Burn, and very few monsters have any magic resistance to start with, so you need to look for the monsters with native magic immunity.

Any Stone Skin Plague Bearer or Wailing Beast boss in Hell will become MI + PI, unless it has extra abilities that give an elemental resistance which may take priority over the PI.

(The Plague Bearer would still be vulnerable to Blessed Hammers, since that skill ignores resistance/immunity on undead and demons.)

Yes I have seen those. It has already been addressed on the board here IIRC.
I found them in A3, in the various Temples (Kurast Bazaar I think). They should be similar to Blunderbores and are Immune to Magic, Immune to Physical. They are not Demon type, nor Undead.
My Barb had some problems there, because Berserk didn't work  .
I suppose that Blessed Hammer/Bone Spear/Bone Spirit would not work vs these.

Wailing Beasts are MI and have 50% physical resist thus a boss version can be immune to both. It's actually the only monster type against Blessed Hammer does not work against, all other Magic Immunes are either Demon or Undead, and no monster can get Magic Immune with the 20% magic resist from Mana Burn.

Blunderbores and monsters of the same blunderbore family (Gorebellies,Urdars etc) are demons. They have crushing blow and their attack skill is actually smite (seems to include crushing blow too), that's why necromancers revive these to deal with the ubers. The act3 non demon/undead monster (wailing beast) belongs to the Wendigo family, like gargantuans,Yetis etc...
