Yes it will... Check in the armor section of JanusJones' Uberkiller thread here (http://forums.diabloii.net/showthread.php?t=392666&page=1&pp=10).

Not many people seem to use this great thread. Most questions are answered in the kicking formula there wich is explained bit by bit in that thread

In all cases, unless your build a variant or going all out for absolute maximum damage, non-weapon ED shouldn't be placed ahead of other useful modifiers such as resists, stats and skills as you'll have to make some sacrifices in those areas to obtain the ED from non-weapon sources.
I myself prefer a simple duress over forti anyday concerning pure kickers.

Well, I usually ignore %ed for kickers, but the 300% from Fort is actually pretty significant. Duress is solid, but with the right gear you should already have max OW and CB, and although 40 FHR is hot, I just love Fort's other mods (good resists, life, great defense). If you're on a budget Duress works very well, but if your other gear is fine I would use Fort. The 300% damage increases killing speed. Really.

Did anyone do some maths around the damage added by a good bramble with +- lvl 40 venom and the 300% ed added by forti for a kicksin? I am pretty curious wich adds more over time.
People even say forti isn't good for most wwsins and with ww the ed% works much much better then on kicks.
By the way, look in this thread for a ed% kicker i tried in ladder 2. I made some calculations in it too.

JRich wrote that before Fortitude and 300% ED was readily available. It's still not bad advice overall, but Fort offers a lot more than just ED%.
