avengers?

are there any avengers out there?

once i traded for guardian angel i thought that building an avenger should be a nice idea;

you know, 20 vengeance, 3x10 fire/cold/light resist auras , holy shield and so on; could this build be viable in hell? pvm ; what about killing speed?
i like the idea of having 95/95/95/90 resists in hell, with max block and ton of life, but the killing speed and little crowd control can cause serious problems; what do you think about it?

last question: can i hit 4 frames with vengeance? what are the breakpoints?

The max speed you can hit with vengeance is 8 frames,since it counts as normal attack. Crowd control is a pain but it can be dealt with the correct (expensive) weapon that can allow you to do 2-3 hit kills in hell.

I believe that guardian angel is unecesary. If you are using ravenfrost ,with 80% resists and the absorb from the ring you are ready.It adds a bit of cold damage too,that will hurt with conviction. If you put on a thundergods,your lightning resists will go to 90% and you'll have straight absorb too,so you'll be safe from lightning too(the belt has damage as well). For boots I would use infernostride,same as above,your fire resists at 90%,doubled with a dwarf star you will be ready.They have elemental damage as well.

Duress is a much better option,for armor. It grants resists,defense,some crushing blow,open wounds,elemental damage as well. Ravenfrost,infernostride,tgods and duress grant you already , 65-261 elemental damage,which gets doubled by conviction aura. 90/80/90/75 is much better than it sounds,believe me.

For helm a vampire gaze is nice option. It has mana leech and you'll need loads of mana leech if you can't get an insight merc. For amulet,crescent moon,highlord's,mara's all work fine.

Dracul's gloves work nicely,but not as nice as in a zealot. Try them these and soul drainers and see what you like the most.

Weapon choice is crucial. A cheap one that works well is nord's tenderizer,but you will be killing slower the unbreakable cold immunes. Gimmershred work very nicely.Stormlash is good as well. I really love famine and breath of the dying though,they are awesome in an avenger.Doom is great too. If you are ladder,an ethereal oath is the best value for money. A war spike will have decent damage and will allow you to reach easily 9fpa speed (60% ias needed-50% from the weapon already).

what about endgame damage shown on char screen? what kind of numbers can i suspect?

A cheap weapon like the redeemer (far from being optimal for avenger) shows 2.2k-3.1k damage on my screen. Note that this is bigger in reality,part of it is elemental and elemental damage is multiplied by conviction. My Doom berserker axe now,shows 1.9-5.2k ,and believe me,this amount on an avenger means easy kills in hell. Oath/famine/botd will show higher.

Yes,very, you will have a synergized level 30 holy shock aura on top of your conviction,that will also add lightning damage to your attack.

and the rest in salvation

with the following gear:
ebotd zerk
guardian angel socket with um
highlord's
hoz with um
laying of hand
dungos
gore
dual raven
and shako

The damage was pretty godly in terms of pvm but the killing speed wasn't really good as zeal.

I have more or less the same thing nl,only i use duress, doom zerk and dracs.
