Does the -75% penalty from hunger come additively or multiplicatively (if that's even a word)? Say I have 1300% enhanced damage from skills, gear, auras, etc. Would it then be 1225% or 325% enhanced damage, or does it take 75% from the weapon's base damage? Was thinking of making a biter for fun, using strictly rabies and hunger animations as skill attacks.
Hunger reduces your total physical damage by 75%. Elemental damage is untouched though.

So at any given moment, no matter what my skills/auras/gear is, its essentially (skill dmg + aura dmg + gear dmg)*.25 = actual damage? Say for instance I have 100 skill dmg, 100 aura dmg and 100 gear dmg. Hunger damage would be 300*.25 = 75 ED, or say I do 3000 dmg when all is said and done. With hunger i would do 750 dmg, is that right? Also, since we are dealing with leech here, is there a nm and hell penalty for it?
Try to think of it in a similar fashion to deadly/critical strike, except instead of increasing the physical component, it reduces it by 75%. This is 25% of what you would normally do with a normal attack. So if your druid's normal attack dealt 1500 physical damage, then your hunger attack would deal 375 physical damage.
So yes, if your druid would normally deal 3000 physical damage, then he would do 750 physical damage with Hunger.
The NM and Hell leech penalty still apply here too. Also, although you probably know this already, it's important to remember that the leech is based off your Hunger damage, not your total normal physical damage. Likewise, the amount you leech is calculated after the PvP penalty (if applicable) and any physical resistances, so it's reduced further by those as well.

The druid would be mostly pvm for something fun and different... maxing werewolf, lycanthropy, rabies and hunger with a few points in poison creeper to synergize rabies. Having a high level hunger should help for the leech penalties somewhat, and since I am not doing pvp, there's no added penalty there. Basically my last question was really to verify that the hunger penalty is always added last. Which it appears to be so. So even if I had deadly strike and amp damage active and I use hunger, I will only be doing 25% dmg. Crystal clear now thanks.

Actually, all dmg is reduced to 25%. This doesn't include CB/OW btw.

Are you sure non-physical damage is modified? If it was, then it would be like multishot/strafe, wouldn't it? But multishot/strafe's damage is modified through the SrcDam column in skills.txt, but Hunger isn't, since it instead uses Param5.

Always wondered about that, because elemental damage shows up on the char screen as doing full damage when using Hunger, tho it could just be lying.
It's just something I remembered. Should test it if I can find the time this week.

Yay! cheers RTB
So, I am just building Armageddon Kodiak using Hunger.
What's the consensus, is elemental damage reduced?
Is it good idea to increase my damage by adding elemental charms?
that's scary RTB...
