ladder reset

When BNet resets ladder.....what exactly happens? Do the chars get deleted or just current chars are removed from ladder and can't get ranked anymore? I am very confused by this....havn't played D2 in a while and finally got back into it.

well that sucks.....i play mainly for ladder cause of the runewords......do they get deleted if you have them?

I'm pretty sure they don't get deleted.

all gear that u had on ladder will xfer to nl meaning u keep all ur gear including ladder only uniques/runewords.
