finding the Gull

Ok, sorry for a possible repost, but I couldn't find it in the search, but where's the best place to find a Gull?

Just run bosses and super uniques in Normal Difficulty: Andariel, Rakanishu, etc.

I actually found both of mine while running Hell Andariel for SoJs... lol...

I got lucky and mine dropped off of Normal Duriel. It's a low class weapon though, so possibly easier for lower class monsters to drop it. Download the ATMA drop calculator on the home page of diabloii.net, it's a pretty cool program.

I just downloaded atma on the school computer lol. Alright, other than Uber Diablo, Andariel in normal has the best chance of dropping a gull at a decently low 1 in 459 runs. That's at 500% mf though, I don't know what %MF you have though so i'll guess around 350, and the odds on that are 1 in 580 on the first kill. Hope this helps.

The fastest way to get a Gull Dagger is to trade for one. Probably just a few pgems. If you insist on finding one yourself, pile on as much magic find as you can and kill as many monsters as possible in normal rather than focusing on a single boss. In the old days a Frozen Orb sorc was good for this, but any char with a decent area attack will do. Any area with lots of monsters, especially the "pit" like areas. You might even find that most rare of items: a Greyform Quilted Armor!!!

got Eth gull from NM Diablo, so everywhere you run to find something, it will drop elsewhere
