What's the best shield for ubers?

Alot of people have told me that a upgraded HoZ is best for ubers but with my gear setup i was wondering if i should use hoz or zaka exile?

Assuming you have Drac's gloves, you already have more than enough to take the Ubers. I use an HoZ myself. Low ED, not upped and only a PDiamond in there. Still gets the job done quite admirably though. I'd say use the Exile if you're not getting life tap fast enough with drac's (or don't have dracs). Also I use Dwarf Star instead of a second Raven for Dual Absorb (well actually Tri-absorb with TGod's). Anyway, with what you have you should have no trouble against the ubers, whatever shield you go with.

I personlly use kurast spirit and it works.

Sanctuary sacred targe/rondache with 100%+ all resists. Upgraded hoz offers less resists and nothing more.

I like spirit. But, I'll always love the up'd hoz.

i'd go for a sanctuary sacred rondache.

hoz doesn't look like a good item to up.

if you don't up the hoz, you only need 89 str. the +20 on hoz holds your belt on, and the belt holds your hat on.

instead, you need to put 22 more points into str, all for a measly 0-72 extra defense.

still seems like a waste.

after holy shield and grief, let's say the grief is +380 and holy shield is level 30, up'd hoz does 523-526, and non up'd does 497-508.

after fanat and smite, it winds up being around 250 extra damage.

it's an extra 66 pre-bo life if you don't up it.
